Friday Night - 11.47 PM
You don't know how happy I was today.
This morning I asked my gramps whether or not I receive a letter. But he said no! So okay, I just went out and left for school.
When I came back from university, it was around 10 PM, I went up to my grandparents' room and had a nice chit chat with them and my uncle.
Around 11, my uncle was about to go home when my gramps called me down coz I received a letter. My sis and I were rushing down and I was murmuring, "Please please, let it be it, let it be it!" And when I saw the logo, it WAS from Symphonia Music School! The place where I registered my ABRSM piano exam. I can sense that it must be the results. So I did not dare turn to the other page after I opened the envelope. My sis wanted to see hers so she took the paper and tried to remove the back paper, which was her result. It took her so long that I fidgeted and rushed her, and she was like scolding me (so typical Adelene! ><")
I received my paper and the first thing I wanna do is to see the comment, but I can't help it, temptation's too high ... so I checked out the score instead. When I saw the score, I was DUMBSTRUCK ... seriously, I really thought I was dreaming. As I came back to reality, I finally screamed, "I GOT DISTINCTION!" I was screaming, dancing, and jumping my heads off a few hours ago. My uncle was still there and was reading the comments that the examiner wrote, he was definitely surprise and was also happy for me too. For the last piece, I got full mark! All I could say now is...WOW! Just WOW! ... Why? Because I've been telling my parents that I'll get a distinction for Grade 8 piano, since they doubted that I'll get an honor for my exam, coz you know, I've been lazy. ><" But I also don't know where did I got that confidence from. Now I just remembered, your mouth as a powerful weapon, to curse or to bless. And so far the sermons and the principles planted inside taught me to SEE, CLAIM, BELIEVE, and you'll RECEIVE! So I did, for 2 months whole, I saw myself getting a distinction, I claimed that it's mine, I believe that DISTINCTION was made for me, and yes...today that good news came, I just received DISTINCTION. =)
